Upper Marlboro Food Trucks
The Town of Upper Marlboro has introduced a new initiative of Food Trucks into Downtown Upper Marlboro! Food Trucks not only provide additional eatery options for our residents and visitors but helps drive economic development and build a sense of a strengthened community.
Lunchtime Vending Opportunities: :
We are allowing one truck per day to vend at our downtown Upper Marlboro Pocket Park located at 14767 Main Street Upper Marlboro MD 20772, between the hours of 10 am to 4:30pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The pocket park has three picnic tables, trash 7 recycling cans, and close proximity to the Courthouse. Trucks are allowed one on-street parking space, and the vending window must face the sidewalk. Larger food trucks that need more than one on-street parking space will have to purchase two permits for the day.

Food Truck Vendors:
If you are a Food Truck and wish to vend in downtown Upper Marlboro, please complete the below steps:
Step 1: Contact info@UpperMarlboroMD.gov or call Town Hall at 301-627-6905 with your preferred dates (planning three weeks out). A picture of your truck and a copy of your current County vending permit is required.
Step 2: Ensure you are in compliance with County Licensing & Permits
Step 3: Payment of $50.00 per day by calling Town Hall at 301-627-6905 to pay over the phone with a credit card, or visit the Town Hall at 14211 School Lane to pay with credit, cash, or check/MO.
Pocket Park Regulations:
Due to the close proximity of the pocket park to office buildings, the Town asks that food trucks follow the below guidelines to limit disturbing adjacent businesses and office workers:
-No loud music
-Please do not block sidewalk or street
-No large inflatables or other promotional items
-Please try to use quiet generators
-Each daily vending permit is good for two on-street parking spaces. You will need to feed the meters for any additional spaces you use.
