Water Street To Close Again (for repairs)

The flooding subsided from the Water Street Bridge early Sunday morning, and the State has reopened the road as of this morning (Monday, May 21, 2018).

The Town just met earlier today (Monday) with the WSSC and the SHA. They will be closing the road down later today to remove debris, assess damage, and fix the leaking WSSC waste water pipe leaking sewage into the river. They will keep us posted.

The red line represents 11 feet, and is the point at which the water goes over the road.
