ALERT!—Water Street Exceeding Flood Stage Level

At this writing (Sunday, June 3, 2018 @ 4:30 p.m.) we see the Western Branch rising up to 7 feet, after which, the Western Branch starts creeping up onto Water Street.

The graph below (from 3:15 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2018) shows the Gauge Height rising straight up past 7 feet with no sign of slowing down, but . . .

With more rain expected, we advise that people do not attempt to travel by car (or by foot) near the bridge on Water Street at Route 4.

Please be mindful of the Western Branch at Marlboro Pike and Route 202 as well.  Safest route to and from the downtown area is Old Crain Highway from Pennsylvania Avenue.
