Administrative Assistant: Full Time Position. The Town of Upper Marlboro is looking for a highly motivated Administrative Assistant who takes initiative to support key personnel within the Administration Department, primarily but not limited to the Board of Town Commissioners and the Town Clerk/Administrator. The ideal candidate for this Full-time position must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Office programs.. The Administrative Assistant role is customer-centric and engages with all levels of staff and the general public. The individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to exercise a high degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information. Routine duties include talking phone calls, assisting walk-in requests, with an emphasis on records management and office calendar maintenance. Experience working for local government a plus. Pay commensurate with experience, medical and retirement plans available. Position open until filled. EOE. Working hours are 8:30 am until 4:30pm Monday-Friday at the Upper Marlboro Town Hall 14211 School Lane Upper Marlboro MD 20772.
