Town Hall is open for emergency operations only. We started plowing Town roads at 3:00 am.  We strongly recommend that you do not try to drive unless it is a true emergency.  With blizzard conditions recently posted for the Town prepare now for a possible loss of power.  PEPCO  requests if you loose power that you turn off  appliances etc. leaving only a light or radio to let you know when power comes back on. This will help prevent a power surge that can result in the power going off again. Remember, if you loose power to call PEPCO the more people that call the higher the priority the area is given.

With the record breaking snow fall, snow clearing operation will take several days. This means that several passes will have to be made to push the snow off the roadway. Unfortunately, this means that you will have to clear the end of your driveway more than once.  Remember to  clear all snow off your vehicle before driving. Do not clean off  your vehicle in the roadway and remember do not throw snow on to the roadway. Off street parking is required until the snow emergency is over which will take several days.
