The Town government is operating on a snow emergency basis until Thursday.  Trash will not be picked up today. Depending on the amount of snow tomorrow the next trash pickup will be on next Monday.  The Town meeting scheduled for Tuesday February 9 is postponed untill further notice .  Since there is snow predicted for Tuesday, we are working on moving the snow further off the streets in order to have room to remove the new snow fall which is predicted to be from 1 to 8 inches.  This means that your drive way will have snow pushed on to it.  This is unfortunate after all your hard work yesterday but it would be more unfortunate if the roads were not cleared and emergency operations could not reach your home. When clearing your driveway or vehicle do not put snow into the street. Continue to park in your driveway or on the even numbered side of the street if you absolutely do not have room in your driveway.
